Bachelor of Science in Management Information and Ethics
Individuals who have an interest in emerging technologies and how they fit into today’s modern business settings may wish to consider Mid-America Christian University’s Bachelor's of Science in Management Information Systems and Ethics degree program. This program will give technology-minded students a way to gain the skills to manage a wide range of information systems. Students will learn how to use new technologies to improve project management and financial organization in almost any career that they choose. Experienced technology instructors will train students in technology theory as well as the practical application of many widely used database systems and office technologies. Mid-America Christian University also includes an education in biblical theology that will give graduates a foundation of Christian values that they can draw on to make difficult ethical decisions during their career path. Graduates will also be qualified to sit for the Certified Associate Project Manager exam from the National Project Management Institute.
Students will complete a total of 49 credit hours while in this program. The classes consist of a combination of business, technology and theology courses. Classes will be administered in a completely online environment that gives a large amount of scheduling control to the students. Students in this program will be able to decide when they complete their assignments. This allows enrolled students to fully balance work, family and academic life easily while still receiving an intensive and high-quality education.
In order to be admitted into this program, students must already have completed general education requirements for a bachelor’s degree. A minimum of 49 lower division, general education courses prior to entering into this program. Mid-America Christian University has several online associate's degree programs that can allow students to fulfill these prerequisites. Because this is a program designed specifically for working adults, individuals must also be at least 22 years of age to be admitted into this program.
