The Bachelor of Business Administration and Ethics degree program offered by Mid-America Christian University has been designed with working adults in mind. Offered completely online, this program will give potential business leaders the tools they need to succeed while also offering extreme flexibility in academic scheduling. Classes are available completely online, allowing those already working full-time to fulfill their academic requirements during their time off. This online study environment retains the same level of quality offered by on-campus classes.
This program has been designed to develop a combination of Christian ethics and business skills. Students will not only learn how to lead in a business environment, but how to do so ethically. Students will learn how to use communication skills, critical thinking and technical competencies to navigate complex business problems. Students can expect to be trained in the organizational, analytical and professional skills that will insure that are able to handle administrative tasks with ease. Examples of business classes include: Principles of Accounting, Macroeconomics, Principles of Management, Computer Application in Business, Business Law, Human Resource Management, and Church & Nonprofit Finances. An understanding of the Bible and the teaching of Jesus Christ are included to help students develop a strong foundations of values rooted in the New Testament.
This program requires the completion of 54 credit hours of business and ethics classes. All classes are available online. Students must already have completed 49 credits of lower division, general education classes before entering this program. These can be taken at Mid-America Christian University or can be transferred from a previously earned associate's degree program. This program also requires the completion of community service hours to enrich personal growth. Advisors will assist students in locating community service centers that are close and convenient to their location. This program is designed for working adults; as such, students must be at least 22 years of age in order to be admitted.
