Business Management Technology Associate of Applied Business
Undergraduate students interested in earning the Associate of Science in Business Management Technology have the opportunity to partake in Miami University’s online degree program. The program allows students to attend classes through virtual classrooms, and communicate with peers, instructors and fellow students to ensure a thorough understanding of core concepts. Students can utilize the flexible online format to maintain current management positions or to gain the foundational education while satisfying family obligations.
The Business Management Technology degree program is ideal for individuals who want to enhance their previous knowledge and skills in technological aspects related to the ever evolving business industry. Students can also use the associate's degree as the foundation for additional educational pursuits at a bachelor's level in a variety of concentrations. Students will be able to apply the formal education with past experiences to enter the competitive job market.
The Department of Business Technology also gives students the opportunity to specialize within the Business Management Technology program in the area of Real Estate Technology. The Real Estate Technology concentration is designed to provide students with the education necessary to sit for the State of Ohio licensing examinations for sales and brokers licenses. The concentration introduces students to essential concepts of real estate principles & practices, laws, finances, and appraisals.
Graduates will be able to enter new careers using the learned concepts of small business management, worker relations, global business marketing, communications and quantitative business decision making. The strategic combination of online courses, previous experiences and applicable courses taught by qualified instructors will give graduates a solid foundation for personal and professional growth.
