The online Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology provides students with the critical skills and essential knowledge necessary to direct and control computerized information resources within diverse organizational settings. Students will focus on the design, planning and management of information infrastructures and the coordination of information resources as well as the concepts upon which information systems are based and their application in designing solutions to real world problems.
Career opportunities for graduates exist in information technology, mobile and application programming, systems analysis, and other areas.

Degree completion requires a total of 120 credits, including transfer credits. A.A. or A.S. degree from a regionally accredited institution or a minimum of 60 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average. Prerequisite coursework in math, statistics, economics, and technology required.
Miami Dade College is a four-year public school located in Miami, Florida. MDC was founded in 1959 as Dade County Junior College and is now the largest college in the Florida College System and the second largest in the United States. Miami Dade has eight campuses and 21 outreach centers located throughout the Miami Dade County.
Miami Dade College offers more than 150 programs that lead to certificates of completion, associate’s degrees, and bachelor’s degrees. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend, as well as online. MDC offers fully online degrees at each level.
