Associate in Science in Accounting Technology

Program Details

The online Associate in Science in Accounting Technology teaches the roles and responsibilities of accountants in business to students and their ethical and legal responsibilities as part of the profession through immersion in business practices, understanding the fundamental principles of accounting, management, marketing, economics, and other business aspects critical to the operation and management of an enterprise.  Graduates are able to demonstrate proficiency in the fundamental accounting principles and practices that enable firms to monitor performance, employ critical thinking and analysis skills to solve business problems, analyze ethical issues, and evaluate technology as a strategy for competitive advantage in business.  They are qualified for both future study and entry level positions in accounting and account management.
