Program Details

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing online RN to BSN program from Metropolitan State University of Denver is designed for RNs who want to increase their knowledge and promotion opportunities.  The online option allows already busy RNs to balance work, care-taking, and other responsibilities with school, providing a greater chance of success.  Also, the online learning environment includes productive online interactions with Nursing professors who are invested in your success.  Your professors will mentor you while sharing their expertise in a variety of specialties and clinical experiences, including mental health, obstetrics, pediatrics, hospice, long-term care, and medical/surgical nursing.  Advanced Specialty Courses are also available for more experienced RNs.

This online RN to BSN program is available in three formats, depending on the student’s background:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Baccalaureate Registered Nurse Completion Option is designed for RNs who graduated from an associate degree or diploma nursing program  
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Accelerated Nursing Option is for RNs who already have a bachelor’s and want to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Traditional Nursing Option is for RNs who are interested in pursuing their bachelor’s degrees
