Program Details

The online AAS in Information Technology / Data Center Management emphasizes the education of hardware, design, management, support and operational methods of a data center. The courses include topics such as data center infrastructure, designing server environments, and managing day-to-day data center needs.  These courses are designed to expand perspectives and problem-solving techniques that will be implemented in the real world.

Students learn different cloud computing methods, system practices of enterprises, and software methods to implement virtualization.  Courses also cover topics such as communication protocols, research issues, data center management techniques, and network infrastructure.

The major requirement courses at MCC have been developed to increase the student’s career skills and knowledge required to transfer to a four-year institutions.


This degree requires from 103.0 – 104.5 credit hours. Students using financial aid are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent.
