The Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Nursing Administration prepares students to successfully lead at the organizational and executive levels. This certificate is designed for nurses who already hold an advanced degree and want to pursue new career opportunities.

The program addresses the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) key competencies and the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC) Standards of Professional Performance for Nursing Administration to prepare students for national certification.   • Applicants must have an advanced nursing degree (MSN or higher) without an educator focus from an accredited nursing program and a regionally accredited institution
  • Unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (United States and territories)
  • Minimum of one year of recent professional nursing practice
