Gerontology examines the process of aging and issues specific to the elderly. A bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science with a specialization in Gerontology will allow you to work with older populations to provide needed services with knowledge and skill. This online Gerontology degree combines studies of psychology and sociology to understand how people behave in different settings. Class offerings include topics in methodology, social psychology, strategies for elder care, health psychology, and mental health related to aging.
