The online MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree program, which meets the New York State Office of Professions education requirements for licensure as a licensed mental health counselor, is designed to provide students with a thorough grounding in principles of mental health counseling at the graduate level. Graduates may pursue professional positions as mental health clinic counselors, drug and alcohol program clinicians, hospital/psychiatric center therapists, college and university counselors, private practice therapists, and more.
