Program Overview

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences offers a Graduate Certificate in Health Policy. The program is offered to those who have already obtained a bachelor's degree and are interested in advancing their studies in health policy. The faculty in the program is well-educated, and has even written two books about regulatory affairs.

Through this program, students will be lectured in the regulation of drugs, devices and biologics, law, marketing and health policy. The program can be completed in less than a full academic school year. This graduate certificate program is available to those who are interested in an advanced study in health policy, without the full commitment to a master's degree program.

The graduate certificate in health policy also compliments other degrees such as business administration, nursing, pharmaceutical and health care business, and public health. Students who complete the program will have the opportunity to learn from experienced faculty and in smaller classes. Lessons will be held by executives with a wide range of knowledge in drugs, devices and biologics and health care policy. Graduates will join a substantial network of alumni who work in industry government and even world-renowned health care organization. Access to the latest information through the libraries are also available to the students in the certificate program.

There are a variety of careers options available for graduates of the graduate certificate program. Graduates will have the opportunity to work in federal or state regulatory agencies, clinical research organizations, managed care or even other health related fields. Graduates of the program will also have the choice to continue their studies through the Master of Regulatory Affairs and Health Policy program.

    Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is a four-year private school located in Boston, Massachusetts. The College was founded by pharmacists in 1823, which makes it the oldest institution of higher education in the entire city of Boston and the second-oldest college of pharmacy in the United States.
