The online Doctor of Pharmacy with a Postbaccalaureate Path is designed to help practicing pharmacists earn their Doctor of Pharmacy degree while continuing work at the same time. Students will learn the skills and tools needed in their field, including designing a pharmaceutical care plan along with other health professionals, drawing reasonable conclusions using data, using effective communication, documenting practice activities to facilitate, and many more.
The curriculum is divided into three phases:
Phase one involves the beginning courses of pharmaceuticals
Phase two focuses on drug literature and clinical pharmacokinetics
Phase three involves all the pharmacotherapeutics practices
Requires attendance at an in-person orientation on the Boston campus
Requires completion of a four-week, full-time clinical rotation under the supervision of an MCPHS University preceptor. Applicants will need to request information to determine locations.
Have a bachelor of science in pharmacy from an accredited college or university
Have licensure to practice pharmacy in the United States
Be employed in a patient-care setting
Official transcript from the college where your BS in Pharmacy was earned
Photocopy of active pharmacist license
