Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene

Program Details

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health offers a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Completion Program. The program is designed for dental hygienists who already have their Associate’s degree, but are interested in new career options or even to advance their positions they already have.

Requirements

  • Must attend one in-person orientation at the Boston campus
  • Bachelor completion requires a total of 122 credits, including transfer credits
  • Graduated from a dental hygiene program accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation
  • Earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale) in dental hygiene program courses
  • Completed one year of work experience in healthcare
  • Successfully completed the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination
  • Licensed to practice dental hygiene or eligibility for licensure in at least one jurisdiction in the U.S. or Canada
  • TOEFL scores for whom English is not the native language
  • Current employment in dental hygiene is recommended but not required
