McLennan Community College is a two-year public school located in Waco, Texas. The school opened in 1965 by Texas Legislature and is one of the three colleges in Waco. MCC serves students from all of the McLennan and Falls Counties as well as the Calvert and Bremond school districts.
Students at MCC can earn associate degrees in the arts and sciences, complete a training program, earn a one-year certificate, or take part in continuing education courses. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend. Online courses are also available to provide convenience for students. MCC has a partnership with several four-year state universities that offer degree programs on MCC’s campus, which offer students the opportunity to earn an affordable bachelor’s, masters and doctoral degree without leaving Central Texas.
