Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Accounting helps build a strong foundation of skills needed to succeed in the workplace, partnering with business courses to make students valuable assets to any organization.  Course emphasis is placed on basic accounting principles in finance, cost, taxation, and auditing.  Graduates are prepared for various entry-level positions in accounting, such as bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing.

This course will equip students with effective communication and collaboration skills, enable them to take a lead role in achieving strategic accounting solutions, and provide them with a solid understanding of finance and accounting practices. Students with an accounting certificate may be able to transfer credits into this program. Completion of this course is also a great foundation for students who wish to pursue a Bachelor’s of Accounting.
