Program Overview

McKendree University's online Bachelor in Business Administration program is designed for students looking for a flexible business degree.  Courses in this major focus on general business skills, allowing students to get a taste of all aspects of how a business is run.  The course load includes introductory classes in Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Management, among other highly applicable courses. 

Students with this degree will have the general business skills necessary for most entry-level positions.  This major also allows students to build a broad foundation for graduate schools in any area of business.

The courses are offered entirely online, giving students the ability to take classes whenever is most convenient for them.  Each major at McKendree requires a minimum of 128 credit hours for completion. Of those, 58 must be at the university level, 40 must be in 300- or 400-level courses, and a minimum of 32 hours must be with McKendree.  Students must also fulfill the general education requirements and pass a writing proficiency exam in order to graduate.

    McKendree University is a four-year private school located in Lebanon, Illinois. The school was formed by pioneer Methodists and is still affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Established in 1828, McKendree University is the oldest college in Illinois.

    McKendree University offers certificates of completion, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctor’s degrees. McKendree University is made up of the following academic schools:
