McHenry's Organizational Leadership Certificate offers students the opportunity to acquire a business certificate without the time and commitment required by an Associate's Degree program. The certificate is made up of four management courses intended to provide students with foundational skills in management and leadership. Coursework combines management theory with real-world application through the use of case studies, business simulations, and collaborative projects. Managements skills are highly sought after in any business setting, and capable managers are always in high demand. This certificate prepares students for careers in a wide range of positions upon completion of the program. Recipients of the Organizational Leadership Certificate can expect to be qualified to work as Sales Managers, Administrative Service Managers, Social and Community Service Managers, Cost Estimators, or Managements Analysts, as well as countless other management positions.
The Organizational Leadership Certificate consists of 12 credit hours earned through four courses: Principles of Management, Creative Leadership, HR Management, and Experiencing Management Decisions. If students are short on time during the week, they may want to check out McHenry's Fast Track program. This program is designed for adults with full-time commitments, with classes being held one night a week to fit into their busy schedule. Upon completion of the program, students are required to have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA at MCC in order to receive the certificate. Recipients of this certificate also have the opportunity to take one of McHenry's three Business Management Proficiency Exams. These exams, including Intro to Business, Business Applications of Mathematics, and Business Communication can help further bolster the resume of any McHenry business student. McHenry County College's Leadership Certificate is ideal for anyone planning on pursuing a career in the field of management.

McHenry County College is a two-year public school located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. MCC was established in 1967 as part of the Illinois Community College system and serves most of McHenry County as well as portions of surrounding counties. MCC’s main campus is located in Crystal Lake and the school has several other satellite campuses.
McHenry County College offers certificates of completion and associate’s degrees in twenty different programs and disciplines. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend. Students can make the most of scheduling flexibility by combining online courses, self-paced online courses and blended with on-campus courses to pursue degrees or certificates.
