Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration
Mayville State University offers a BAS in Business Administration, which provides extensive training in technology and education necessary for employment in the business industry. A BAS in Business Administration will give students a competitive edge in the workplace by receiving a generalist understanding and application of the nature of the present and future work world. This program prepares students for higher level positions within jobs or self-employment. Students have the option to take classes online or in a classroom environment.

Students in this program are given opportunities to develop leadership skills, join sports teams, and participate in a variety of other activities and clubs.
Students who are transferring with an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Applied Science (AAS), or Associate of Science (AS) can easily have their credits integrated into the program and count towards their Business Administration degree. Students who have taken the Associate of Arts in Business Management online program through Mayville State University will transfer directly into this program.
Students enrolled in the BAS in Business Administration program are required to have general education courses completed, as well as core requirements. General education course topics include communications, English, math, and 24 additional general education credit hours. Core requirements include topics such as accounting, marketing, management, finance, computer applications, business communications, human resource management, and other business related courses. Additional elective courses are also required in order to complete the degree.

Students must have completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS), or Associate of Science (AS), or Associate of Arts (AA) program from an accredited institution to enter the BAS Business Administration program.
