Program Overview

Massasoit Community College offers a Business Administration Transfer option for students who decide to switch their business route. The Business Administration program offers five career paths for students. These options include: General Business, Accounting, Hospitality Management, Marketing, and Supervisory Management.

The Business Administration Careers Program was created to provide different options in business to allow students to choose the career paths they will be interested in. The program encourages the acquisition of distinct skills that will allow students to perform successfully. There are many career paths available for new students, and this program will help students choose the path right for them.

Many of these options have overlapping class requirements in the curriculum. Because of this, many of these classes are taken at the beginning of the program. Students will then switch into the Business Administration Transfer program. Through this program, students will lose the risk of having to make up courses and fall behind track.

When students enter the program they do not have to choose a career option right away. Individuals are given until the end of their first semester to make a decision. Students will have the help and guidance of advisors to help them make this decision.

With the Business Administration Transfer option, students will be able to successfully switch their business route through Massasoit Community College without falling behind.  The program will allow students to achieve their Associate’s degree in the career path of their choosing.
