Program Details

The online Associate in Science in Paralegal Studies program is designed for students who plan to transfer into bachelor’s programs to further their educations, using this program to form the foundation, or who plan to begin working directly after finishing this program.  The curriculum prepares students to perform legal work as directed and supervised by an attorney through a combination of business, liberal arts, and legal courses.  Students will learn to prepare and draft legal documents, investigate and research legal issues, interview clients and witnesses, and render practical procedural assistance in law-related matters.

Requirements

  • Official final high school transcript, copy of high school diploma, copy of GED/HiSET certificate, or official college transcript indicating an associate degree or higher
  • Accuplacer assessment test may be required
