Maryville University’s online Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program is designed to help prepare active nurses to become strong leaders who can not only transform and respond to today’s health care systems, but also advance the profession of nursing.
Maryville’s online DNP provides practitioners with the opportunity to learn advanced skills and conduct clinical research to help them improve their practice’s quality of care and patient outcomes.
The program’s online format allows a student the flexibility to continue their careers as they advance enhance their education in as few as 18 months.
MS or MSN from a NLNAC/CCNE accredited nursing program. Current board certification as an advanced practice nurse. Minimum of a 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale in a master’s program in nursing. Three letters of recommendation: Minimum of one academic and one clinical. Copy of curriculum vitae or resume. Three-page essay. Possible interview may be requested. Upon starting the program, a background check, fingerprint check, and proof of immunization are also required.
