Program Details

The online MEd in Leadership Studies degree program from Mary Baldwin University prepares students to be instructional leaders as well as school/community leaders in a variety of roles. Courses cover topics such as:

  • Public Policy & Community Relations in Education
  • Curriculum Development & Design
  • Education Law
  • Assessment & Planning for Instructional Improvement

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in education from an accredited college or university (Individuals with other degrees may be accepted at the discretion of the director of graduate studies.)
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or an average of at least 3.0 for no fewer than nine semester hours of graduate credit at an accredited graduate institution (Probationary status may give to eligible applicants not meeting the 3.0 average.)
  • Official transcript of undergraduate and graduate work
  • Statement of intent
  • Other materials may be required
