Program Details

The online Associate of Arts in Paralegal program is designed for students who want to transfer their credits to a four-year institution and complete a bachelor’s degree in the field.  The curriculum teaches students how to perform some of the same tasks as lawyers and to do legal research and write reports to help prepare and support legal cases, preparing them to complete any work that the attorney supervising them may delegate.  You will gain basic skills in writing and research, computers, public speaking, and ethics, while also gaining knowledge in areas of law including real estate, business, criminal, torts and litigation, bankruptcy, employment, and alternative dispute resolution.
