Program Details

The online Health Information Technology associate’s degree in the Medical Coding & Reimbursement Track is designed to prepare students for the fields of health information technology and management by teaching a variety of concepts.  The curriculum covers topics such as electronic health records, medical terminology, health information management, health informatics, diagnosis, and computer applications.  Students will also learn about healthcare reimbursement methodologies, quality improvement, legal issues, and resource management.
