Program Details
Begin an exciting career working with a growing part of the student population. This degree prepares students to work with students with special needs. You will be able to take your certification at the initial level in another field and build on that to begin working in special education.
There are two concentrations available:
- Certification
- Non-Certification
Certification leads to special education certification while the non-certification concentration is geared toward those who want to develop an understanding of special education but do not want to teach in the field. With either option, you will earn a master’s degree with a special education emphasis.
