Program Overview

Macomb Community College offers an Associate of Business Administration in Marketing degree. The curriculum provides students with a comprehensive education of the economy, social trends, technology and business competition. Students will learn to identify, understand and build relationships with a target audience and analyze marketplace dynamics. The program also teaches students to use creativity and analysis to create strategies to aid in developing a product or service, pricing strategy, distribution points, creating advertisements, incentives and sales to improve and promote a product. Graduates will be qualified for jobs requiring creative skills, people skills and analytical skills.

    School Overview

    Macomb Community College is a two-year public community college founded in Warren, Michigan in 1954. The college began as an extension of the traditional K-12 system at Lincoln High School as South Macomb Community College. In 1981, the name was shortened to Macomb Community College by its Board of Trustees.

    Macomb Community College offers students degree and certificate programs in multiple different locations throughout Macomb County. Distance learning and weekend/evening classes are available to students for convenience. Many students complete an associate degree at Macomb Community College before attending a four-year institution in order to save money.
