Program Details

The Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Hospitality Management degree offered by Lynn University is available to students in the online learning environment. This program aims to grow and change with the constant transformation of technological innovations that link local communities with the global marketplace. This is an advanced degree that is designed to prepare and equip managers with the knowledge and competencies that are needed to administer controllable forces within an organization in order to adapt successfully to variables in an uncontrollable environment.

The Master of Business Administration program is designed to prepare its students to acquire middle and upper-level management leadership responsibilities in business, not-for-profit, and governmental organizations. This curriculum uses a general management focus in order to help students to gain broad and integrated knowledge of business functions, to gain knowledge of ethical and legal considerations and to understand the social responsiveness needed to resolve corporate and public issues. Students may also learn analytical and problem-solving skills needed to use technology related to business decision making. An objective of this program is to equip students with communication and interpersonal skills needed to lead groups and business organizations. Students may also learn about strategy and how to make and implement different strategies. Another objective is to help students understand the importance of the global environment as it influences organizations, decisions, and operations.

In addition to the core Business Administration courses, students will also take classes such as Food Service Administration, Resort Development and Management, and Service Management.
