The B.S. in Organizational Management Degree Program consists of 120 total credit hours. These credit hours consist of major courses, core courses, supporting courses, and elective courses. A minimum of 60 credit hours may be transferred into the program to count towards the degree. Applicants who do not meet this minimum 60 transferable credit requirement may not enter the program. Students will be required to complete 36 credit hours of major courses. Course topics that students will explore within this major include managerial economics, organizational ethics, managerial accounting, managerial finance, business statistics, case study analysis, principles of marketing, leadership, innovation and change management, systems in organizational communication, organizational behavior and theory, and human resource management. These courses are designed to give students an advantage in today’s highly competitive job world.
Due to the primarily online learning environment used for this program, students should have basic computer skills and a reliable internet connection. This online learning environment provides flexibility for enrolled students who are employed or have other obligations. Applicants must have at least a 2.1 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) for 60-89 of the last credit hours attempted or at least a 2.25 GPA on the last 90 or more credit hours attempted. Students must submit their official transcripts, a copy of their resume, and an essay with their application form.
