Program Details

The online Bachelor of Arts in Ministry & Theology program from Loyola University New Orleans prepares students to serve their communities.  The curriculum integrates theology with a practical approach that focuses on the Bible, spirituality, culture, and ethics, shaping compassionate, faithful leaders.  Courses emphasize communication while promoting a broad vision of ministry as found in churches and anywhere else people of faith work and live.  You will also use the experience and wisdom offered by faculty and fellow classmates as you become reflective in your faith and learn to serve in a variety of leadership positions.  Graduates will find careers in parishes, schools, diocesan offices, or in the fields of business, law, healthcare, criminal justice, government, counseling, or teaching.

Requirements

  • ACT or SAT scores
    • Not required of applicants 22+ years of age or those approved for a waiver
  • College transcripts, if applicable
  • 2 or more years of verifiable service or ministry experience
  • TOEFL or IELTS score report (international students)
