Program Details

The online Associate in Business is a transfer degree from Lower Columbia College.  With this program, students are usually able to transfer to a bachelor level degree program at a four-year college or university at a higher level than incoming freshman.  The curriculum provides the management, accounting, marketing, finance, operations management, and human resources courses that are useful for students pursuing advanced studies.  You will learn about market economies, supply and demand, cost benefit principles, resource allocation, macroeconomic theories, the banking system, and about international trade and finance. 

Graduates are able to:
