Louisiana State University Eunice is a two-year public school located in Eunice, Louisiana. LSU is the flagship institution of the Louisiana State University System and is noted for its extensive research facilities, operating about 800 sponsored research projects. LSU Eunice was founded in 1964 by the Louisiana State Legislature to provide basic higher education opportunities to students located in southwest Louisiana.
