Students enrolled in this program might find employment in settings such as government, medical, non-profit, and various other human service agencies. Some of the required courses include Introduction to Psychology, Personal and Community Health Problems, and Current Social Problems. Students may choose from the following electives: Child’s Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, Marriage and Family, or Criminology. All courses are available online through LSU’s distance learning program. This allows students to have a flexible experience while working towards their degree.
