Lord Fairfax Community College offers the online Associate of Arts & Sciences in Education. This program is designed as a transfer program. While students may begin work immediately after completing this degree, it is primarily designed for students who plan to enter a baccalaureate program. With this degree, students complete freshman and sophomore level course work that provides credits toward the completion of a bachelor’s degree and in preparation for teacher licensure. Graduates will ultimately become employed as a teacher in a private or public school setting.
