The Management Associate of Applied Science degree includes knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to succeed in the business world. This program provides students with a basic foundation in general management skills. The management associate of applied science degree is awarded for successful completion of 66-68 credit hours. The management program offers specializations in general business, human resources, international business, marketing, small business management, and entrepreneurship.
A wide variety of job opportunities are available to graduates of the program, including middle-management positions, first line supervisors, company owners, and other positions requiring leadership, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
The general education core will transfer to a variety of colleges and universities. The management AAS degree will transfer to several four-year colleges and universities in a BAAS degree.

Lone Star College System is a two-year public school located in The Woodlands, Texas. The school began in 1972 as North Harris County College and the school’s name changed to the current name in 2007. The college has five branch campuses (CyFair, Kingwood, Montgomery, North Harris, Tomball) and two university centers (University Center in the Woodlands, University Park in Harris County).
Lone Star College System offers certificates of completion and associate’s degrees. Continuing education, professional development, and courses for high school students are also offered. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend. LSCS has partnerships with many four-year universities so that students can obtain bachelors and masters degrees at one of the two University Centers. Many degrees and certificates are offered 100% online, as well as individual courses.
