Program Details

The general Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University is an online counseling degree program.  This program is designed to train students to help others manage and overcome emotional disorders and problems with their family and other relationships.  The curriculum consists of core courses related to counseling, assessment, differential diagnosis, and ethics.  You will learn to effectively counsel diverse populations, advocate for clients and your profession, influence policy to enhance the counseling profession, and work on the prevention of mental and emotional disorders.
