Linfield College-Adult Degree Program offers an Undergraduate Certificate in Web Application Development program designed to prepare students for careers that involve the establishment, development, or maintaining of websites. Students gain hands-on experience and learn the basics of the technologies, formats, standards, and tools that drive web application development. Emphasis is placed on systems for e-commerce, as well as a strong focus on the areas of corporate support, entertainment, intranet and extranet.

Although Linfield traces its roots to the Oregon City College, it wasn't until 1858 that the Baptist College at McMinnville was chartered by the Oregon Territorial Legislature. The college was later named McMinnville College. In 1922 when Frances Ross Linfield gave her properties in Spokane, Washington, to the school, the Board of Trustees renamed the college in honor of Mrs. Linfield's late husband, the Rev. George Fisher Linfield. The college maintains its American Baptist heritage, although faculty, students and staff are not bound by religious requirements.
The Online and Continuing Education Program at Linfield College allows students to earn a degree at their own pace.
