Master of Arts in Nonprofit Administration
Lindenwood University offers an online Master of Arts in Nonprofit Administration to all students interested. This is an executive graduate degree that is created to help prepare students who are interested in leadership positions in youth and community service or nonprofit management careers. The MA in Nonprofit Administration is fully accredited by The Higher Learning Commission.
Over the past few years, many nonprofit organizations have increased their demands for managers and leaders in their fields. These organizations are looking for highly qualified inpiduals with specialized training and education to fill their positions. Nonprofit agencies are looking for managers at all position levels. These agencies whether they are public tax-supported domain or private volunteer sectors, all require managers that are skilled and knowledgeable in the field. The Master of Arts in Nonprofit Administration at Lindenwood University provides students with the skills and knowledge these organizations are seeking.
Not only do students in the graduate program learn the knowledge and skills organizations are looking for, but they learn the fundamentals as well. The Nonprofit Administration graduate program provides their students with education in areas of competency needed for effective agency leadership. The graduate program also helps those who are already in the field by enhancing their career placement.
To complete the program, graduate students must complete 37 hours of core coursework. Students are also required to complete a variety of skills-based electives along with core courses. Finally, all students will complete a capstone research project near the end of their studies. This final project will allow students to present what they have learned throughout their courses and work in the Master of Arts in Nonprofit Administration program.
