Lindenwood University offers an online Master of Arts in Educational Technology, Design and Telecommunications. This degree is an MA in Education with an emphasis in Educational Technology. This online degree aims to prepare graduate students to engage in leadership roles in instructional technology settings at their school, business or industry.
Throughout the online degree program, graduate students will learn technical skills about equipment, software, current issues, trends, theories, and principles of instructional design. Graduate students will also learn fundamental skills about technology, research and background knowledge necessary in most fields. Graduate students have the opportunity to learn about the successful development, implementation and integration of hypermedia, hypertext and multimedia in instructional settings.
The Master of Arts in Education with an Emphasis in Educational Technology has a total of 33 credit hours. In addition to these classes, students are also required to take a variety of skills-based elective courses. Near the end of the Master's program, students will be required to complete a capstone research project, allowing students to show what they have learned throughout the course.
Lindenwood University offers students real-world experience through the Educational Technology program that will help build their knowledge and skills necessary in their inpidual career paths. During the graduates study, students will complete a project that helps provide evidence of what they have gained through the courses.
Once graduate students have completed the required courses and project work they will have gained the skills necessary to become leaders in instructional technology settings. The Masters of Arts in educational technology at Lindenwood University is fully accredited by The Higher Learning Commission.

Lindenwood University is a four-year private school located in Saint Charles, Missouri. The institution was founded in 1827 by George Champlin Sibley and Mary Easton Sibley as the Linden Wood School for Girls. In 2008, Lindenwood opened an extension site, Lindenwood University-Belleview, and has since opened many more satellite campuses in the following locations.
