Program Overview

The Master of Arts in Bible and Theology from Lincoln Christian University provides a thorough understanding of the Bible and of a Christian worldview without having to worry about taking Greek or Hebrew. Students will study with professors who are understanding and relational, and who are known for their spiritual depth and knowledge of the Bible and theology. Students will learn more about God while enjoying the immersive community experience of a master’s degree.     School Overview

    Lincoln Christian University is a four-year private school located in Lincoln, Illinois, between Chicago and St. Louis. LCU was founded in 1944 as Lincoln Bible Institute. In 2009, the school changed its name to Lincoln Christian University and also established the Hargrove School of Adult & Graduate Studies, which offered its first completely online master’s degree. LCU is affiliated with the Christian Church and the Church of Christ, but accepts students from a variety of church traditions and backgrounds. The school’s mission is to “nurture and equip Christians with a Biblical worldview to serve and lead in the church and the world.”

    Lincoln Christian University offers certificates of completion, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctor’s degrees. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend. Online and hybrid programs are offered in an accelerated format that lasts about six to seven weeks.
