Liberty’s 100% online Ph.D. in Education – Organizational Leadership is an advanced research-focused doctoral degree that is designed to equip students for the highest levels of leadership in the field of education. Students in this program will build on teaching experience and graduate studies in administration, curriculum development, learning theory, and research excellence for the K-12 and higher education fields. With an emphasis on original research, the Ph.D. in Education provides students with a path to academic authority by demonstrating the ability to address highly advanced problems in educational organization leadership. The Organizational Leadership specialization provides a balanced approach to leadership and management techniques for unique insights into educational leadership and executive expertise that applies to any industry. With the research, analysis, and writing process built into the Ph.D. in Education’s three-year track with the integrated dissertation, students will complete original research in a topic of advanced education leadership of their choice. This research will help establish students as authorities and masters of large-scale educational management and effective leadership. The Ph.D. in Education – Organizational Leadership will equip students for careers in the highest levels of leadership in K-12 school systems and higher education management from operations to student life. As an expert in high-level management, students will also be well-equipped for executive roles in other industries that require the ability to manage complex organizations.

Liberty University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. This is the regional accrediting body for southern states.

Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) now administers both NCATE and TEAC accreditation. Current accreditation status under NCATE and TEAC for education programs will continue through the accreditation term, during which they will be CAEP Eligible.
