Liberty’s 100% online Master of Arts in Religion – Next Generation Ministry helps ministry professionals to disciple children and young adults to build up the next generation of Christian leaders. Liberty’s M.A.R. degree is designed to provide a broad-based and in-depth study of scripture, theology, and practical ministry skills that will help students guide congregations, build up Christian nonprofits, and lead parachurch organizations. With skills in discipleship and apologetics, graduates will be prepared to engage with their communities and share the gospel while bringing up others to do the same. The next generation ministry area of study also contains specialized courses focused on preparing students to reach, disciple, and lead young people and their families. These courses will prepare students to engage with the unique challenges of their community’s youth and help them grow closer to Christ. Graduates of the M.A.R. in NextGen Ministry will be well-equipped for roles as associate pastors, Christian camp leaders, Christian educators, Christian nonprofit managers, and missionaries.
