Program Details

Liberty University’s online Master of Arts in Professional Writing hones your communication skills, whether you work in finance, health care, higher education, public service, or another field. Through our professional writing program, you will refine your editing and layout skills, study advanced grammar and composition, and learn methods for teaching writing. With your core courses completed, you can then customize your degree with classes focused on your areas of interest — business, education, digital communication, grant management, leadership, or speech writing.

Requirements

Official college transcripts. A regionally or nationally accredited bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA for admission. (Acceptance on caution between 2.75-2.99 GPA). Statement of purpose. TOEFL scores for students who speak English as a second language (score of 600 paper-based test; 250 computer-based test; 80 internet-based test).
