The Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling in Community Chaplaincy: This online degree program from the Department of Community Care and Counseling provides an overview of pastoral counseling and community chaplaincy. In this program, students study pastoral counseling techniques, marriage and family, crisis intervention and the value of community chaplaincy with a biblical worldview. Graduates of this program will be better prepared to counsel individuals in a variety of environments including: hospice, senior care, prison, juvenile centers, workplace, humanitarian relief, police, first responder, community settings, and para-church ministries.
