Liberty University’s 100% online Master of Arts in Military Operations – Military History provides students with an in-depth study of contemporary military operations and military history. As a pioneer in distance education since 1985, Liberty understands what it takes to design effective online degree programs. The M.A. in Military Operations – Military History is offered in 8-week sections with no set login times and no required intensives, so students can study to become principled, ethical military leaders from anywhere in the world. While this degree program can help students develop skills applicable to a number of career fields, it is primarily designed for current and former members of the US Military who would like to work in the defense sector or become military historians. Students in our M.A. in Military Operations – Military History program will study military geography, military intelligence, modern naval warfare, and historical methods of warfare. Mastery of these foundational subject areas can help students pursue careers as military operations analysts, military historians, military archivists, or military instructors.
