Program Details

Liberty University’s online Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Higher Education Administration degree equips students with knowledge regarding student affairs, intercollegiate athletic administration, or general administration in college and university settings. This degree will also further expand options for students to pursue an advanced degree in higher education administration while providing a seamless transition into the Ph.D. Higher Education Administration program as it shares similar program learning outcomes.

Requirements

  • Official college transcripts
  • Master's degree with a 3.0 GPA from an institution that is accredited by an agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education

Special Accreditation

Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) now administers both NCATE and TEAC accreditation. Current accreditation status under NCATE and TEAC for education programs will continue through the accreditation term, during which they will be CAEP Eligible.
