Program Details

Liberty’s 100% online Ed.S. in School Administration and Supervision is designed to equip education professionals with the high-level management and strategic planning skills to be effective, licensed school administrators. Students will gain the benefit of post-master’s training in education leadership without having to commit to a full doctoral program and allowing them the flexibility to pursue a full doctorate later. The Ed.S. in School Administration and Supervision includes the content and hands-on experience training needed to pursue school administration and supervision add-on licensure in the State of Virginia, allowing students to apply for reciprocity in other states as well. Students in this program will study a balance of highly advanced learning theory and practical methods while also building on their teaching experience with executive administrative skills and knowledge to meet the unique leadership challenges of higher education and K-12 administration. This program is ideal for students who have years of experience as teachers, but want to transition in their careers to leadership roles. Graduates of the Ed.S. in School Administration and Supervision will be well-equipped for roles as academic deans or provosts, chief learning officers, executive directors of education, higher education instructors, or school district superintendents.
