Liberty University

Program Details

Liberty University’s 100% online Education Specialist (Ed.S.) – Educational Leadership exists to help equip students with the tools needed to become a better leader in their schools and communities. An Ed.S. degree is a postgraduate degree that builds on master’s-level education training. While Liberty’s Ed.S. is designed to be completed quicker than our Ed.D., our Ed.S. is still designed to help students gain advanced licensure in school administration and supervision. Through courses in executive leadership in curriculum and instruction, advanced education law, school district finance and organization management, advanced learning theory and research, and theories of educational leadership, can graduate from this program a more knowledgeable educator who is capable of serving in several educational capacities. This program is designed to attract current teachers who are interested in becoming school administrators but lack the necessary licensure. Students may also use our Ed.S. program to become college administrators, curriculum specialists, or instructional supervisors. Upon completion of our Ed.S. program, students will have an advanced, postgraduate, accredited credential from a respected university that they can use to take their careers to new heights.
