Liberty’s University’s online Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Administration – Student Affairs offers students the opportunity to pursue top-level roles in college or university administration and student affairs. Student affairs professionals serve an important role in helping students succeed and develop both personally and academically while attending college or university. This online degree program exists to help students gain skills such as effective leadership, policy development, program development, and best practices in supporting student achievement. Students interested in this program are likely current educators or educational administrators who are interested in pursuing careers related to student affairs at an institution of higher education. Students will study current issues and trends in the field of student affairs administration. In addition, they will learn advanced leadership techniques and administrative skills. Legal issues and policies will also be part of their education in the area of student development.
