Program Details

Through Liberty University’s 100% online D.Min. in Next Generation Ministry, you will gain an in-depth understanding of how to communicate the Gospel and nurture spiritual growth in children, youth, college students, and young adults. Building on studies from the master’s level, the online DMin – Next Generation Ministry degree focuses on the leadership principles and essential skills for students in ministry leadership with an emphasis on strategies and methods to train up the next generation of leaders. Students already in ministry leadership or who want to move into a new role in youth ministries will benefit from this program’s diverse and in-depth study of useful and effective ministry practices taught by professors with ministry experience. With a guided thesis project, students will study and apply advanced strategies and research to solve real-world ministry challenges. Graduates of this degree will be equipped for ministry roles in church and para-church organizations which need leaders with diverse ministry skillsets and expertise in developing and directing youth ministry programs. Graduates may pursue roles as directors of nextgen ministries, discipleship pastors, senior church administrators or pastors, student ministers, and youth pastors.
