Program Details

The Undergraduate Certificate in Database offered by Liberty University is available to students in a completely online format. This program aims to equip students with the ability to provide organizations with systems of content management and ways to analyze the collected data. Among the competencies learned in this program, students will also be able to comprehend principles of diagnosing and troubleshooting. These principles can be used to help an organization troubleshoot problems that occur when storing and retrieving data. These skills are important to have if a student is seeking employment in the Information Technology field.

The Undergraduate Certificate in Database requires students to take 18 credit hours of courses in order to receive the certificate. The required courses include: Enterprise Business Applications and Communications, Application Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Database Management Systems, Introduction to Oracle, and Advanced Oracle.


Official high school and college transcripts (if applicable). 2.0 or higher cumulative combined GPA from all accredited colleges attended or high school.
