Liberty University

Program Details

Liberty’s 100% online Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice – Corrections and Human Services equips students to be advocates for community-based criminal justice reform. This program helps students build on a foundation of criminal justice knowledge and apply their compassion toward practical criminal rehabilitation policies. Students in this program will learn how to work in their communities to help reduce crime, helping convicted criminals and at-risk people to break the cycles of behavior that lead them to more crime. These skills are sought-after by corrections facilities and law enforcement organizations that want to work toward lower rates of repeat offenders, as well as many community action groups and nonprofits that work in communities that are at-risk for criminal activity. Graduates of the B.S. in Criminal Justice – Corrections and Human Services degree will be well-equipped for roles as community correction officers, community outreach program directors, nonprofit community corrections counselors, and youth service workers.
